PHA U18 ICEMEN PHA U18 ICEMEN Tier I AAA Program Structure 2020-2021 Season n OUR 2020/21 Tentave Schedule September: Team Ohio Labor Day Tourney + Independent Games (Local Lean) October: 10/16-10/19 – NAPHL Fall Showcase November: NAPHL Showcase + Off Weekend for Thanksgiving December: To Be Determined + Off Weekend for Christmas January: NAPHL Playoffs February: CCM World Invite (Boston, MA - tentave) March: Mid Am Tourney n OUR AIM Heading into our 5th season, the PHA Icemen will compete at the Tier 1 AAA U18 Level (2003 & 2002 Birth Years) for the upcoming 2020-2021 Hockey Season. Our program provides players with both on-ice and off-ice training, skill development, and exposure opportunies with the goal of helping players reach their highest potenal in building a pathway to amateur hockey at the next level (Prep School and Junior Hockey). n NAPHL SHOWCASE DIVISION The PHA Icemen are pleased to announce we have been accepted in to the NAPHL (Naonal Prospects Hockey League) Showcase Division: 3 Major Showcases to Maximize Exposure, Compeon, and Educaon Possible eastern conference being formed for other showcase opons Access to NAHL tendering system for members of the NAPHL Maximize strength of league with more interleague games Season Ending Top Prospects League website & Real-me stascs dedicated to promong the NAPHL Live video broadcasng of every NAPHL game. n OUR GOAL Our goal is to provide the highest level of hockey training throughout the enre season, compete with other top organizaons in the US while focusing on helping our players develop not only hockey skills, but also valuable life skills as they mature into young men.  n OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS Although relavely a new organizaon, PHA is proud of the accomplishments made over the last 5 seasons. We have had one team (2015/16 U14 T2) finish the season ranked #1 in My Hockey Rankings, and have sent two teams to the USA Hockey Naonal Championships. With a focus on academics and connuing educaon, we have also sent several our players to Prep School who are currently playing Hockey in the best High School Hockey League in the US, the New England Prep League. The U-18 Icemen will be part of the North American Prospect Hockey League for the 2020-21 Season n OUR PROGRAM STRUCTURE Pre-season Training (July & Aug.): 1 weekly on and off ice sessions Pre-season Training Camp (Aug): 4-6 on ice sessions & classroom sessions In-season Team Pracce: 2 per week on average (weeknight and weekends) Skills Sessions: Included in weekly pracce schedule In-season Dryland Training: 1 weekly off-ice session In-season Game Film Review: Pre-season and throughout the year Total Season Game Count Target: 50 to 55 games target Home Games: 15-18 games Tournaments/Showcases: 4-6 events Former PHA Player, Mike Fritz Jr., who is currently playing for Trinity Pawling FOR MORE INFORMATION Visit www.yesicemen.com/icementryouts or contact Head Coach Cody Brightbill at [email protected]. Cody is also an acve NCAA D1 and D3 referee. Coach Max also played for the RMU ACHA D1 team from 2010-2014. Max is also an acve amateur and high school hockey referee in the Pisburgh area.
