SUMMMARY OF INSPECITON
Inland Engineering and Consulting, Inc. is pleased to provide this report of proof load testing on four (4) post-installedanchor rods on the 65’ monopole tower, ADOT Highline Canal Pump, PH30145F.
1.0 ScopePerform pull-out testing of post-installed anchor rods per Sheet N-1 of the project drawings.
2.0 Test Equipment2.1 Enerpac 60 ton model RCH 603 Hollow Core Ram and P80 Pump.2.2 10,000 PSI Crosby Gauge in 50 PSI graduations2.3 10,000 PSI Bar Gauge in 100 PSI graduations2.4 1.0” dial indicator in .001” graduations
3.0 Referenced Documents3.1 GPD Group testing procedure – Sheet N-1.3.2 ASTM E488-03, Strength of Anchors in Concrete and Masonry Elements.3.3 ASTM E4-07, Standard Practices for Force Verification of Testing Machines.
4.0 Conditioning4.1 Epoxy agents were allowed to cure according to manufacturers’ recommendations to achieve its full effective loadcapacity.
5.0 Test Specimens/Locations/Conditions5.1 Anchor rods – 1-3/4” diameter ASTM A1554 Grade 555.2 Epoxy – HILTI HIT – RE 500
5.3 Test system was calibrated prior to testing to ensure measuring capabilities within 2% of the maximum appliedload.5.4 Five percent initial load of target tension was applied to bring test system components into full bearing prior totesting.5.5 Loads were applied in increments of 15% of the target tension and maintained for 15 second intervals.5.6 Weather = sunny with calm winds, 88°F-94°F
