Ruth Leger Huff, 95, of Mt.Vernon, died Thursday, De-cember 25, 2008 at theRockcastle Health & Rehabili-tation Center in Brodhead. Shewas born in Wildie, KY on Oc-tober 1, 1913 the daughter ofHenry and Mary Alice BakerLeger. She was a retired cookfor Roundstone School and hadbeen the oldest member of theConway Baptist Church.

She is survived by: twodaughters, Lorraine Hospkinsof Indianapolis, IN and Edna(John) Williams of Mt. Vernon.She was preceded in death by:her husband, Charlie Huff; oneson; four brothers; and four sis-ters.

Funeral services were con-ducted Sunday, December 28,2008 at the Dowell & MartinFuneral Home Chapel by Bro.Jim Ritchey. Burial followed inthe Riddle Cemetery.

Stacy MasonStacy Mason, 30, of Sand

Hill, died Thursday, January 1,2009 at his home.

He was born November 8,1978, at Rockcastle CountyHospital to Eugene and AliceHubbard Mason. He was amember of the Sand Hill Bap-tist Church. Stacy enjoyed be-ing outside with his bulldogsand writing music. His dreamalways was to have his ownband. Not only was he a tal-ented singer but also writer aswell. He expressed himself thruwords and music. He also en-joyed watching sports. He hadbeen a Masoner for the last sixyears.

Stacy will never be forgot-ten and always loved by every-one he came into contact with.He had a carefree spirit andwould help anyone any way hecould.

Those left to mourn hispassing include: his parents,Alice and Eugene Mason ofSand Hill; two brothers. Michael Dario Glovak, 44,husband of Jennifer LearGlovak, of Paint Lick and for-merly of Brodhead, died Thurs-day, January 1, 2009 at theRockcastle Hospital.

He was born on August 23,1964 in Mt. Clemens, Michi-gan, a son of Frank Dario andJanet Hagedorn Glovak. Hewas a Roman Catholic whosevocation was that of MasterCarpenter. His hobbies and in-terests include fishing andhunting and family time. OnJuly 7, 2007 he was united inholy matrimony to Jennifer SueLear.

Vernon, died Sunday at theLake Cumberland RegionalHospital in Somerset. He wasborn on October 13, 1947 inRockcastle County the son ofthe late Dewey and FredaBozell Monk. He was a selfemployed Drywaller, an avidUK Basketball fan, enjoyedrabbit hunting, listening to hisbeagle run, country music, theoutdoors and wildlife.

Survivors are: one son, Rob-ert (Melinda) Monk of Mt.Vernon; one daughter, Lavone(Jeffrey) Jett of Mt. Vernon;three sisters, Alphia McClure ofVentura, IA, Mary Hayes of Mt.Vernon, and Sue Prestholt ofClear Lake, IA; and four grand-children. He was preceded indeath by: four brothers, Carlos,Paul, Leroy, and Donald Monk;and two sisters, Joyce Mooreand Barbara McGunnis.
