An elegant and minimalist table with a strong geometric
presence, the Snaregade is sleek
enough to aesthetically elevate any space, and durable enough
for both commercial and
private use. The thinner silhouette enhances the elegance of
this beautiful table.
The Snaregade Table was originally built for the home of MENU
founder Bjarne Hansen,
answering the question: what does the founder of a furniture
company need in his dining
room? He needed a table that was efficient in its use of space,
visually light, and of course,
sophisticated. It was so well-received that it’s been in
production ever since. MENU brings
personality and intimacy to every piece, and the Snaregade
showcases the best of that as it
feels customised for every setting.
The new linoleum tops are both visually and materially
appealing, with a heartiness that
makes it an easy choice for families with young children or for
a restaurant setting. The more
slender silhouette of the top adds to the already present
sophistication and minimalism.
About the Designer
Founded in Copenhagen in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper
Rønn, Norm Architects
specialise in residential architecture, commercial interiors,
industrial design, photography
and art direction. Today, the group regularly collaborates with
MENU, helping to drive the
evolution of the brand and its product offerings. Norm
Architects’ name reflects the group’s
emphasis on the importance of drawing inspiration from norms and
traditions within
architecture and design – particularly the Scandinavian design
principles of timeless
aesthetics and natural materials, and the modernist values of
restraint and refinement.
Guided by these principles, Norm Architects produce design that
unites good materials and
craftsmanship, while embodying beauty, traditions, history and,
most importantly, timeless
simplicity, where there is nothing more to add or take away.

Production Process
Linoleum:
Forbo Linoleum glued on MDF, CNC
machine cut and then painted matching the
linoleum. Welded together from steel tubes
and surface finish is powder coated.
Veneer:
The frame is powder coated steel, and the
table top is painted oak veneer.
