Background: Peterlee Show now in its 45th year has been a popular family event with approximately 10,000 people visiting over the weekend. Over the nine years I have organised Peterlee Show there have

been a lot of changes some of which include the layout of the Show, number of marquees used for various activities, stage performances and arena entertainment.

For details of this year’s Show please see appendix 1.

The family fun days have been taken place in Woodhouse Park for 4 years. All activities are free, including the kiddie rides and

children’s entertainment. The dates this year are Friday 21st July and Friday 11th August, 11am until 4pm.

Bonfire Night Celebrations will take place this year on Saturday

4th November with children’s entertainment in the Pavilion, Helford Road between 4.00 – 6.00pm. The fireworks display will commence at 6.30 for a 20 minute display choreographed to a selection of music from Pirates of the Carribbean.
