The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me. - Ps 138:8

He who has begun will carry on the work which is being wrought within mysoul. The Lord is concerned about everything that concerns me. All that isnow good, but not perfect, the Lord will watch over, preserve, and carry

out to completion. This is a great comfort. I could not perfect the work ofgrace myself. Of that I am quite sure, for I fail every day and have only held

on so long as I have because the Lord has helped me. If the Lord were toleave me, all my past experience would go for nothing, and I should perish

from the way. But the Lord will continue to bless me. He will perfect myfaith, my love, my character, my lifework. He will do this because He has

begun a work in me. He gave me the concern I feel, and, in a measure, Hehas fulfilled my gracious aspirations, He never leaves a work unfinished;

this would not be for His glory, nor would it be like Him. He knows how toaccomplish His gracious design, and though my own evil nature and the

world and the devil all conspire to hinder Him, I do not doubt His promise.He will perfect that which concerneth me, and I will praise Him forever.

Lord, let Thy gracious work make some advance this day!

If you look at the world,you’ll be distressed.

And when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer...whodelivered them, even Othniel...Caleb's younger brother. And the Spirit of the Lord came

upon him - Judg 3:9-10

God is preparing His heroes; and when opportunity comes, He can fit them into theirplace in a moment, and the world will wonder where they came from.

Let the Holy Ghost prepare you, dear friend, by the discipline of life; and when the lastfinishing touch has been given to the marble, it will be easy for God to put it on thepedestal, and fit it into its niche.

There is a day coming when, like Othniel, we, too, shall judge the nations, and rule andreign with Christ on the millennial earth. But ere that glorious day can be we must letGod prepare us, as He did Othniel at Kirjath-sepher, amid the trials of our present life,and the little victories, the significance of which, perhaps, we little dream. At least, letus be sure of this, and if the Holy Ghost has an Othniel ready, the Lord of Heaven andearth has a throne prepared for him. —A. B. Simpson

Thank You for Your continuing Covenant faithfulness, protection,loving care, grace, mercy, provision, sunshine and showers.

Thank You for all answered prayers this past week.

Thank You for answering prayer for Carol Lawrie’s Granny. She iswalking and moving and does not have the virus.

The fruit of the Spirit is peace. To be spiritually minded is life andpeace. God hath called us to peace.  Peace I leave with you, My peace I

PRAY FOR

Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdomcome, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day ourdaily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Andlead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the

Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, for ever Amen Matthew 6: 9-13

Where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I inthe midst of them. Matthew 18:20

Keep praying for our Leaders and our Nation. May Your kingdomcome and Your will be done this week in our nation.

Keep praying for Ali and his family for accommodation.

Pray for those in persecuted situations both at home and abroad.

Pray for all parents and children who are home schooling and beinghome schooled.

Pray for those who are pregnant and carrying new life. Give themYour divine health and peace.

Keep praying for  Morven’s friends Sarah and James, Monica, DerekMilne, Cat’s friend Donna,  Dave Philip, Rani Melrose, IsobelGronnenberg, Adrian Lawrie, Ade’s colleague J Connell, Rachel’sfriend Linda, Jim Ironside, Janetta, David Gellatly, our family, friendsand colleagues who need You to intervene.

Pray for all our church family, whether they be in isolation, infamilies, Nursing Homes, Sheltered Housing, shielding situations,caring or out working. Pray for Your presence to overshadow themand for them to know Your strength.

Keep praying for all Pastors, Leaders and their congregations. Keeptheir arms lifted up in praise to You.

Keep praying for Alma and Norma for health and strength.
