Personal Histories:
During Stage 5 of Character Creation, you may purchase a Personal History for your character at the given Experience Points. Personal Histories are significant organizations and events that have occurred in the Calixis Sector, and can serve as a great starting point for a character’s backstory, as well as a goal during Character Creation. These Personal Histories can only be purchased during Stage 5 of Character Creation, unless specified otherwise (characters actually undergo the event, etc.)
If a character would gain a Talent that he already has, than he may have a single skill advance of his choice instead. Credit for these goes to Simsun on the Dark Reign forums. (The backstory for all of these is in the Inquisitor’s Handbook)The characteristic bonuses associated with these Personal Histories may increase your characteristics above their starting limit of 45, but they may not exceed 50.
