November 2, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Father of Mercy Chapel located
at 369 Little Church Road, Toronto, Ohio. Please know our love
for you and our desire to be united with you in praying for your
beloved deceased through the month of November. Beginning on
All Souls Day, Nov. 2nd the following will be offered: Mass at
Father of Mercy Chapel, Divine Mercy Chaplet Novena, and a
daily Prayer for Our Beloved Deceased. We invite you to send us
the names of your beloved deceased who we will honor through a
procession during the All Souls Mass and we will remember
them in prayer during the month of November. To submit names

Green Space Update, September 2014
Planning for the green space (between the school and
rectory) continues at this time. Mike Sullivan has
volunteered to work with Fr. Shell on the construction of the
space. Chris Joyce is in the process of completing drawing
for the site. Thank you very much for your
continued financial contributions. Any questions may be
referred to Fr. Jonas Shell at the church office, 282-7612.
Scrip News SCRIP can earn FREE tuition money for you!
BJKM Elementary SCRIP hours are Tuesdays 8 a.m. – 10

Sunday, October 26 is Donut Sunday which is celebrated
after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Masses. Please come to the
church hall and enjoy some refreshments and fellowship, and
greet Fr. Huffman who is celebrating his 50th birthday this
month.
Bishop John King Mussio Schools Pasta Dinner Save the date for Ristorante Mussio! - The Seventh Annual
Pasta Dinner, Sunday, November 2nd, from Noon til 5 at a
new location, the Triumph of the Cross Holy Rosary
Auditorium. Adult Dinners are $8, Students 4-14, $5 and Kids
3 and under eat free. Dinner includes pasta, meatball, salad,
bread, drink and desserts. Eat in or carry out, and check out
great raffle items like Penguin tickets - Steeler tickets with a
parking pass - Legos and American Girl themed baskets - a
gift card tree - and much more. Thank you for your support of

The CCHS Band Boosters is having a hoagie sale. Items
being sold are hoagies: Standard, turkey, vegetarian, meat-
ball, pepperoni, gyro and roast beef along with pepperoni
rolls. Frozen haluski, pierogies and a variety of ready bake
cookies are also being sold. Orders will be taken from
Thurs., Oct. 9th through Mon., Oct. 27th. Delivery date is
on Thur., Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CCHS (gym/
back door). Orders can also be delivered to local businesses
between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 13th. Order
forms can be obtained by calling the CCHS office at 264-
5538 or by calling Sandy Kelly at 740-264-6033. Thank you
Concert Series
The 2014-2015 Stained Glass Concert Series begins on
Sunday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cathedral of St.
Joseph, Wheeling. This concert will feature works by Jo-
hannes Brahms, performed by renowned instrumentalists
Emily Cook (clarinet), Cody Green (violoncello), and
Zvonimir Nagy (piano). All are invited to attend this free
concert.
40 Days for Life
Time is getting short for getting our 40 Day vigil filled...we need your help. As of this minute, here are

Pumpkin Roll Sale
“St. Agnes Parish CWC is holding its annual Pumpkin Roll
Sale. The cost of each pumpkin roll is only $8. Pumpkin
rolls may be ordered beginning Monday, September 29. To
place an order, please call St. Agnes Church Hall(740-535-
0098), Joanne Raha (740-282-1612), or Barbara Crugnale
(740-535-0174). Pumpkin Rolls may be ordered and picked
up in the parish hall Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m.
to 12 noon or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. We request all orders be
picked up within two days of ordering. The last day to order
is Thursday, October 23. All orders must be picked up by
Tuesday, October 28 from 9 to 12 noon.
The Blessed Sacrament Men’s Club is sponsoring a bus trip
to the Meadows Casino and Tanger Outlet on Tue., Oct.
25th, 2014. The bus will depart from Blessed Sacrament
Church parking lot at 9 a.m. and return at 6 p.m. Cost is $45
per person (this includes $20 in free play at the casino and a
$5 Tanger Outlet discount book). Payment is due by Oct.

St. Peter Church Group News Catholic Woman’s Club (CWC)
We continue to collect glasses for the Lions Club. Please bring
your donations to the church office. The CWC meets on the first
Tuesday of the month at 12 noon in the church hall.
St. Francis Society The St. Francis Society meets on the third
Thursday of the month for lunch (currently at Naples).
Knights of Columbus Any Catholic gentleman interested in joining the Knights of Co-
lumbus may call Grand Knight Gary Lizotte, 740-346-6107.
St. Peter Church Choir The choir sings for the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass. If you wish to join,
or if you would be willing to cantor for weekend Masses, please
call our choir director, Matt Berher, at 740-296-1905.
Encounter See: Encounter-steubenville.com -These meetings are aimed at
ages 13-25, but anyone may attend.
Bereavement Ministry Our ministry consists of a group of volunteers who prepare fu-
neral luncheons for parishioners who have lost a loved one. For

Prayer Line If you are interested in joining the St. Peter Church prayer line, to
receive and pass on prayer requests, please call the office.
Miles Christi Group Miles Christi Group is a formation group for men which meets
weekly for one hour. Meetings are being held every Monday
night at 7:00 p.m. at Jeff King’s house, 431 Franklin Ave. For

GS High School Group Meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the All Saints building. Call

Spiritual Cup of Coffee
All are welcome every Saturday (9 a.m.) to

Catholic Central band is selling the “Enjoyment enter-
tainment book,”. They are filled with coupons, from our
area, for fast food, dining in, dry cleaning, golf, theater
tickets, etc. They will be arriving the first week of Octo-
ber. The cost is $40. The book is good from November
1st 2014 to November 1st 2015. So order yours today,
you don’t pay until they are delivered to you. Ask a band
member or call 283-1291, or call the school.
Samaritan House News
Dear Parishioners,
We are preparing to make over 50 Thanksgiving Baskets
for families so we will be in need of Green Beans, Boxed
Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Pie Crust, Yams, Corn, Stuff-
ing, Gravy, Pie Filling, Pumpkin, and evaporated milk.
We are also is in need of peanut butter, hearty soup, spa-
ghetti sauce, fruit, chili, beans, crackers and tuna. Please
bring your donations to the back of the church. We are also
looking for volunteers to help us sort and price donations.

CCHS Marching Band Boosters
A raffle will be held for $1,000 Gift cards to Walmart,
Reisbeck’s, or any other major retailer (70 to chose from)
That is supported by SCRIP.
The amount can be for all the same retailer or mixed and
matched. Tickets are $5 each and the drawing will be held
at the CCHS Concert Band Christmas performance on
December 10th.
