Objective

The primary objective of the project is to implement

Apps at the University and migrate the mail, calendar and contact data from the existing/ proposedenvironment to the new Google Apps Email andCollaboration suite.

Context

• The University with an approximate user base of3000 has not been using any predominantmessaging and collaboration platform.

• The ongoing pain points of the have made universitylook for an innovative way of reducing the costswhile simultaneously providing a better means ofmessaging and collaboration.

• We suggest/chosen Google Apps after evaluatingsimilar cloud based solutions from Microsoft andIBM.

Result

• Successful Implementation of Google Apps

• City could leverage the entire Messaging andCollaboration suite offered by Google

• Successful mail, calendar and contact datamigration to Google Apps

• Zero impact on existing Domino Applications
