Optima Bore HP barrels.

The main ingredients which drive the stunning performance of the Beretta Steelium barrels are: the exclusive tri-alloy Beretta Steel (Ni, Cr, Mo) which is used, the deep drilling, the cold hammering process and the vacuum distension. The OptimaBore HP barrel profile has been specifically designed to provide excellent patterns with every type of shot: lead, steel and other lead alternatives.

The opening and closing of the gun will remain smooth and effortless over time and no matter how much use (during validation the SL3 has shot more than 11,500 magnum cartridges with no issues).

Firing Mechanism.

Fast, crisp trigger pulls thanks to the hammer leaf spring, as used in our medal winning competition shotguns.

Newly designed ejectors are evenmore reliable and easier to inspect and clean.

The new SL3 platform is an elegant and reliable boxlock system engineered to provide the best performance in the field and to withstand intensive use.

Featuring a design unique to Beretta,the SL3 action offers the perfect action/

barrel locking system, increasing the robustness and rigidity of the platform.The barrels are anchored at three separate points: hinge pins, lower hooks and locking pins.

The rounded and fluid design of the SL3 receiver emphasizes the flowing profile of the gun, enhancing its graceful looks while improving target acquisition. The unique shape of the top lever has been created to match the elegant lines of the top of the receiver. The tail end of the top lever is tapered, blending the slim shape of the receiver into the wood. A new design of trigger guard gives the SL3 a contemporary look.

The pistol grip is comfortable in the hand with a firm hold provided by the hand checkering. It is also available a pistol grip without checkering that highlights the elegance of the SL3 profile. The stock and forend are made from high grade selected walnut wood and are matte oil finished. Engravings are created with Beretta’s most modern and best in class technology: a 5-axis laser, able to engrave rounded surfaces with perfect continuity of the pattern.

You can choose from three different engravings designed by Beretta’s Master Engravers:1. Floral, deep relief scroll2. Game scene 3. Fine english scroll

You can also opt for a fourth option,mirror polished.

Il design arrotondato e fluido della bascula dell’SL3 enfatizza il profilo scorrevole dell’arma, migliorandone l’aspetto e facilitando l’acquisizione del bersaglio. La nuova esclusiva forma della chiave è stata modellata per accompagnare le linee eleganti della parte superiore della bascula. L’estremità della coda di bascula è rastremata quasi a fondere la forma sottile della bascula nel legno. Un nuovo design del sottoguardia conferisce all’SL3 un aspetto contemporaneo.

La forma della pistola e il raffinato zigrino eseguito a mano garantiscono un’impugnatura sicura e confortevole. È disponibile anche una versione senza zigrino, che mette in risalto l’eleganza del profilo dell’SL3. Il calcio e l’astina sono realizzati in legno di noce selezionatodi alta qualità con una finitura ad olio opaca.Le incisioni sono realizzate con la più moderna tecnologia premium di Beretta: un laser a 5 assi, in grado di incidere superfici arrotondate con una perfetta continuità del disegno.

The SL3 is the first Beretta shotgun provided with a new dedicatedgun case entirely handmade in our new “Custom Gun Case Atelier”. This exclusive SL3 gun case has been sympathetically designed; the buckles take inspiration from the SL3 receiver’s profile, the case locks are designed and crafted with the Pietro Beretta logo shield in mind.This is exclusive to the premium guns, a meaningful detail which celebrates the company’s heritage and also reflects the attention to details that characterizes the Beretta Premium philosophy.

The Beretta Product Design team chose a blue cotton canvas for the external fabric, and an elegant but contrasting rich red lining. All the leather details are hand crafted from the finest Italian leather and hand-stitched to the case itself. The ergonomics of the leather handle and the perfect weight balance of the case make it comfortable and easy to carry, whilst affording your shotgun the best protection. As an additional touch of class all the cleaning accessories are at hand in a dedicated, removable, leather pouch.

Il design di questa esclusiva valigetta è fortemente ispirato a quello dell’ SL3; il profilo delle due fibbie richiama quello della bascula, la chiusura della valigetta è stata progettata e realizzata con lo scudetto del logo Pietro Beretta, il marchio dedicato ai fucili di lusso, un dettaglio significativo che celebra il patrimonio dell’azienda e che al tempo stesso riflette l’attenzione ai dettagli che caratterizza la filosofia Beretta Premium.

Il team di Beretta Product Design ha scelto un canvas blu di cotone per il tessuto esterno e un’elegante fodera rosso burgundy a contrasto, per gli interni. Tutti i dettagli in pelle sono realizzati a mano con la migliore pelle italiana e cuciti a mano sulla custodia stessa. Comoda e facile da trasportare, grazie all’ergonomia del manico in pelle e al perfetto bilanciamento del peso, la valigetta garantisce anche la migliore protezione per l’arma. Come ulteriore tocco di classe, tutti gli accessori per la pulizia sono a portata di mano in una custodia in pelle dedicata e rimovibile.
