Christmas is full of fun, laughter & surprises! And that sums up this tour completely!!! Come join us as we travel to Peoria, Ill. & venture into some fun activities, and lots of surprises along the way. Never knowing what is lurking around the next corner!

Day 1, Tues. Dec. 8 … We begin our journey to Peoria. We’ll put some miles between home & Peoria with a fun surprise to start with upon arrival in Peoria. Something sure to burst your bubble, in a fun way! After checking into our hotel we’re then off to Kickapoo Creek Winery for an evening of good food & wine tasting. Coming away with a nice keepsake of our visit there. (D) Day 2, Wed. Dec. 9.… Our Peoria holiday adventure continues today & starts off with another fun surprise! Sweet memories & lots of laughs are a guarantee!!! …..Then we’ll celebrate the ‘Spirit of the Holidays’ on the Spirit of Peoria Luncheon Riverboat Cruise. While on board you’ll hear songs & stories of the Civil War era as they celebrate ‘A Civil War Christmas’……. More surprises in store this afternoon before we take in the ‘Festival of Lights’ display this evening. Peoria’s ‘parade of lights’ celebrates the holidays with a million sparkles of excitement for both the young & old. This light display is rated one of the largest lighted festivals in the Midwest and has been going 36 years strong. (B,L) Day 3, Thurs. Dec. 10.… We’ll say good-bye to Peoria this morning but our fun isn’t over yet. Yup, you guessed it! Another fun surprise awaits! We’ll stop & visit some 4-legged friends of ours that are a rarity, but ever-so-gentle creatures. You might even find a Christmas present here for a hard-to-buy for friend when you feel what soft cuddly fur these animals produce for such ‘soft’ mittens, scarves & gloves…We’re goin’ German for lunch today at the Beirstube Restaurant in Le Claire… Our Christmas extravaganza comes to an end while bringing with us lots of fun memories, laughs & new friends made along the way…… (B,L)
