Question 1

One sunny afternoon, Didi was walking home from school. On the way back. He

saw a cyclist knocked down a cat. The cyclist did not stop to help the cat and just

cycled away.

The cat was injured and it was lying on the road in pain. Didi sympathised with

the cat. He rushed to check on the cat’s condition. There was blood on the cat’s

paws.

Didi decided to take the cat home. He carefully carried the cat. At home, he

cleaned its wound and bandaged the injured paw. He bought a basket for the cat

to sleep in it. He took a good care of the cat.

Soon the cat recovered fully. Didi asked his mother’s permission to keep the

cat as his pet. He was very happy when her mother allowed him. He named it

Hellokitty. He was glad to have a new companion.

Question 2

One day, Ida’s class teacher took her class to a Children’s Day Exhibition at

the town hall. They were excited because it was their first time visiting an exhibition.

There were many children at the exhibition. They could see many drawings

and paintings. Some were painted with watercolours, some with crayons and some

were just pencil drawing. The names of the artist were displayed below their

drawings.

They spent about two hours watching and discussing the paintings. Soon, it

was time to leave. They rode on the school bus and went back to school. It was

indeed an eye-opening experience for Ida and her classmates.
