Executive Summary
Although most of the people assume that peer pressure is an
influential component of adolescent development but the present
study assessed how much pressure the peers can exerted in
various areas of youth life and how this pressure influenced
teenagers' attitudes, ways of life, and their behaviors. Our data
and report identified that peer pressure does exist among
teenager.
A commonly held view about peer pressure is that social pressure
from friends to use drugs and alcohol is a major contributor to
substance use, while the concept of peer pressure enables adults
to explain youths' troubling behaviors. peer pressure indicates
that adoption of the behavior and appearance from peers is a
continuous effecting factor on personal and social life of youth.

Recommendations
The following are the recommendations that we would like to give
after going through all our research and report work.
Parents should become the role model for their children so
that their children follow them rather following others.
Parents should have authority over their children.
Parents should Teach their Children to Recognize Negative
Peer Pressure
The best friend is one who guides his friend that what is
good and what is bad, therefore we should all try to become
a friend of such quality.
Page 23
PROJECT REPORT
knowledge about peer pressure should be spread through
media, education, social network and specially by parents.
