Who we are PORSE Educaon and Training (NZ) Ltd is an NZQA approved and accredited Private Training Establishment, partnering with PORSE Equine Educaon and Learning and reputable Equine Business facilies to offer naonally recognised unit standards that pathway towards a qualificaon in Introductory Stable Skills (Level 2) and beyond. PEEL believes that if people connect with horses through building nurturing relaonships based on trust and respect, we support our own abilies to become emoonally strong and improve our own and others sense of wellbeing. Through this belief we have connected with and established trusng and respecul business relaonships, with reputable equine business partners enabling learners to complete their praccal requirements in a real work situaon. We integrate all theory, pracce and assessment into one resource (Learning Guides). The educaonal materials are easy to use, aracve and fun. All learning and assessment resources are updated every year so they are current with the latest equine theories, the changing industry and NZQA’s naonal requirements. Programmes to suit individual school requests - one or more unit standards to meet learners’ needs and interests. AssessmentPEEL ensures quality of assessment by marking all completed assessments, and by being involved with both internal and external moderation with the Primary Industry Training Organisation.

Practical AssessmentAll practical requirements must be completed in an equine facility. All practicals must be assessed by an approved equine partner.
