• Some students will live with extended family members in the Mississauga area

• Others will go through Homestay arrangements– Provided by Canada Homestay International (CHI)– Students live with Canadian families near Clarkson

Secondary School– Provides students with additional opportunities to

practise their English language skills

Program fees

• In Canadian dollars (for 2012-13 school year):

Application fee - $350.00 (non-refundable)High school fee - $13,250.00 (up to 8 credits)Health insurance - $1.75/day

• We will help arrange transportation and accommodations for students living in Canada. There are additional fees for these services.

Accommodation fees

Canada Homestay International fees:

• $975.00 per month• $350.00 - Initial registration fee• $500.00 -  Refundable security deposit• $150.00  - Registration each academic year• $100.00 -  Airport transfer (one way)• $50.00  - Custodianship registration• $100.00 - Custodian monthly monitoring & reporting

Registration details

• Most students will require a Study or Visitor Visa to enter Canada

• When applying for a Visa, students must submit:– An acceptance letter– Proof of payment

Summer school

• One-month program

• Earn one compulsory English as a Second Language geography credit towards their Canadian high school diploma

• Visits to local attractions
