Welcome
The overall learning need identified by our physicians’ education committee was for practical, evidence-based medicine that can be applied in the clinical setting. Needs in a wide variety of subject areas were identified. This program will address the areas of: Allergy, Asthma, Child Development, Child Psychiatry, Dermatology, Infectious Diseas-es, Media Exposure and Nutrition. This is an opportunity to escape the frantic pace of wintertime pediatrics, visit with old friends, make new friends, and return home refreshed with new knowledge and relaxed from three to four beautiful days in exciting Las Vegas.
At the conclusion of this activity participantsshould be able to:
Registration and Message CenterThe AAP-CA on-site registration desk will be open on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and during the meeting from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Upon registration you will receive an electronic flash drive syllabus and folder with meeting information. A message center and information desk will be maintained during the meeting in the registration area. Full paper syllabus is also available for an additional charge of $35. Cancellation and Refund PolicyProgram registration cancellations by October 28, 2019 will be subject to an administrative charge of $75. There will be no refunds for cancellations after October 28, 2019. All cancellations must be in writing.

Other InformationThere is a continental breakfast and coffee service in the exhibit ballroom each morning. Coffee service is maintained through the midway break each day. There are luncheon seminars on Friday and Saturday. The six Friday seminars are repeated on Saturday to allow the registrants to attend as many as two different seminars. There is an extra charge of $75 for each luncheon seminar. Seating is limited. Once maximum seating has been reached, registration for that luncheon seminar will close. Please indicate a second choice and register at least three days in advance.The lectures will be recorded by the Audio Digest Foundation, 450 N. This year, the Annual Las Vegas Seminars will be held at the exciting Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The usual attendance at our conference, now in its 41st year, is between 500-600 practitioners representing pediatri-cians and allied health professionals from all parts of the United States and from many foreign countries. We thank our many excellent speakers - a true all-star cast of the most knowledgeable educa-tors in pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties. Most of all, we are grateful to our meeting registrants for their continuing interest and enthusiasm.
