THE PEARSON BTEC LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS is accredited onto the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) at Level 3. Students who have completed at least Year 10 of academic studies can take this course.

The Diploma is equivalent to 2 ‘A’ Levels and holders of this Diploma can progress onto the Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma programmes (1.5 years) en route to the BSc (Honours) in Business and Management to be awarded by the University of Salford, Manchester.

The programme covers a variety of units on Business Administration and Management to prepare the students for higher courses in Business, Commerce, Hospitality, Travel and Tourism and other relevant fields. It will also equip them with practical knowledge and skills for a range of careers in business, such as management, administration, personnel and marketing.

THE PEARSON BTEC LEVEL 5 HND DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS is a higher national diploma accredited onto the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) at Level 5. This means that students may progress to study at university level with advanced standing after completing their HND Diploma. A BTEC HND Diploma can count as credit for the second or third year of an undergraduate degree. Acceptance to a university programme is still at the discretion of the individual university.

The programme covers 16 units of a wide spectrum of business administration, management, finance and marketing to prepare you for your dream degree in business and related fields, as well as to equip you with education and training for a range of careers in business. Holders of the HND Diploma with ‘Merit’ grade qualify to continue directly onto the final year of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business and Management, a top-up degree to be conducted at SSTC Institute and awarded by the University of Salford, Manchester.
