Happy Spring!

Typically when we write these Newsletters, it is easy to use metaphors to initiate a discussion or to get a point across. The temptation is to use the crazy winter into spring weather as the metaphor for the crazy amount of changes and fluctuations in our industry. One day the sun is shining, the other day it is snowing sideways.

A MESSAGE FROM HALA special thank you as Office Manager for the past 10 years for our Chapter. It has been my pleasure to serve as the Office Manager for the Chapter but all good things come to a close. I will be retiring as the Chapters Office Manager at the end of May 2016 and appreciate all the support of the membership and especially the Board of Directors over the years for allowing me to serve in this capacity. I especially want to thank the Chapter President, Tim Cashman for hosting a party for me attended by many Past Presidents including Jeff Hyre, Stephanie Warth, Scott Gunter, Larry Dupper, Cathy Wolff, Patty DeLucas, Ann King, Ellen Stewart and Bernie Fellner. Bernie sang(?) a special song and Ellen and Ann organized the event and presented me a great caricature of me which many members signed.

I cherish this time spent with the chapter as your Office Manager and a member of the chapter since 1975. Thanks again and will see many of you at future meetings as a attendee. Jessica Griffith is taking over this responsibility and know she will go a great job.

-Hal Prink, FHFMA
