PDI Drying Systems are designed to meet the diverse

needs of today’s manufacturers. The result is innovative

equipment that provides cost-effective and environmentally-

compliant performance, responsive to even the most

stringent guidelines. Our customized solutions use advanced

technology to ensure a consistent quality finished product,

giving our customers a competitive edge.

PDI Drying Systems utilize precise airflow management and

retention time controls, ensuring consistent outlet moisture.

Our density classification results in lower fuel consumption

than traditional systems, and reduces the emissions created

by over-drying smaller materials.

Efficiency of design allows a PDI system to generate higher

throughput than traditional approaches in smaller drums.

Our unique mechanical design on the outlet of the dryer

lowers the horsepower required for the induced draft fan

for a typical cyclone-based outlet. This approach reduces

the need for secondary cyclones, and allows for increased

flexibility for materials segregation.

PDI developed its innovative energy system as a practical

solution to industry needs. We responded to demand

for a system that would burn a wide range of fuels,

allowing manufacturers to use available and inexpensive

materials. As a result, PDI energy systems can be operated

using either wet or dry fuel, or a combination of both.

Reasonably priced and versatile, our patented burner is

the key to cost-competitive usage of fuel sources.

Each PDI energy system is a custom design, utilizing

precise calculations of retention time to prevent carry-over

of ash, sparks, or other materials. Engineered combustion

chambers and individualized burner management

programming result in minimal emissions, regardless of

the quality of incoming fuel sources. A PDI energy system

offers a flexible and efficient approach to meet the energy

demands of a modern manufacturing facility.
