His work is engaging and will serve to expand contemporary literary horizons. Monday, February 7, 7:30 p.m. Presser Room Jonathan Kreisberg Quartet An eclectic jazz group that focuses on cutting edge acoustic jazz as well as traditional jazz, the group has an avid following. Kreisberg teaches, composes music and performs internationally. $10 Adults/Seniors Friday, February 18, noon Tyler Hall 128 Bob Holman After a lifetime celebrating the art of poetry, including writing books such as A Couple Ways of Doing Something and The Collect Call of the Wild, Holman has recently been involved in the NEA-supported online poetry project called the World of Poetry. In 2002, he became proprietor of the Bowery Poetry Club, home to a weekly poetry slam called NYC-Urbana. Friday, April 8, 7:30 p.m. Orangery Kathleen Sheeder Bonanno Bonanno is author of a haunting book of poems, Slaamming Open the Door, dealing with the murder of her daughter. Reading with Bonanno also will be the winner of the Stan Heim/Louis Camp Bucks County Community College Student Award in Poetry. Friday, May 6, 7:30 p.m. Orangery Dana Roeser Roeser, one of the most vital and exciting poets currently writing, has been scheduled for the Women’s History celebration. Her courage in her writing serves as an inspiration for many. Also marking the celebration, students and staff will read from their own work and the work of women writers. April 21 to May 7 Hicks Art Gallery, Gateway Auditorium, Music Multimedia Building, Presser Room Arts at Bucks Bucks County Community College, Department of the Arts, celebrates their annual Arts at Bucks. This celebration includes student work in visual arts, film, multimedia, theater and music, as well as performances by nationally recognized groups.
