High-Fidelity PolymerasesCloning and expression, sequencing, structure-function studies, and genome variation are a few reasons to reach for a high-fidelity PCR polymerase. But not all high-fidelity enzymes are created equal. Many offered by other manufacturers lack the speed or processivity needed for demanding high-fidelity long PCR, fast PCR, or amplification of GC-rich or repetitive targets. Long PCR PolymerasesWhen your polymerase can go the distance, you can greatly reduce the time and effort needed for your PCR. Instead of amplifying multiple regions across a 30-kb region to cover a gene, you can amplify an entire 30-kb product in one reaction, significantly simplifying your workflow for cloning or screening. Polymerases for GC-rich TargetsNot every template has the same %GC content, and many commercially available polymerases fail to amplify GC-rich targets. Not so with these polymerases, which are capable of amplifying even the most recalcitrant GC-rich regions.
