How  to  Connect  to  the  Student  Printer    

Please  go  to  https://www.rmuohp.edu/its/printing  and  follow  the  instructions  to  install  the  copier  for  Windows.  

Windows  1. Download  the  installer.  2. Open  the  installer  and  follow  the  directions  for  a  “Standard  installation”  

 

3. Please  select  the  printer  named  “Library  Copier”.  If  the  copier  is  not  list  please  click  on  “Specify  condition”  The  copier’s  address  is  192.168.8.10  

 4. Once  the  installer  has  finished  please  go  to  the  “Control  Panel”  and  select  “Devices  &  Printers”  

Windows  7  -­‐  You  can  reach  the  Control  Panel  by  going  to  Start    and  then  selecting  Control  Panel  on  the  right  side.      

Windows  8–  You  can  reach  the  Control  Panel  by  going  to  the  Metro  screen  by  clicking    on  the  desktop.      

Once  on  the  Metro  Screen    begin  typing  Printers.    A  listing  for  “Devices  and  Printers”  will  populate  on  the  right  side.      

5. Locate  the  printer  “SHARP  MX-­‐M453N  PCL6”  and  right  click  on  it  and  select  “Printing  preferences”.  

6. In  “Printing  preferences”  select  the  “Job  Handling”  tab.    Check  the  box  label  “User  Number”  and  below  it  type  the  last  8  digits  of  your  barcode.  Ex:  1  2015  00001234  5
