    May 4 – Warsaw – City Tour / Ghetto Memorials /Warsaw Rising Museum / Polish- Jewish Museum Today you'll walk the streets of Warsaw, home tothe sorrow and resilience of the Polish people. Beginyour day in the Royal Bahts Park, home to theChopin Monument. Continue on to Holy CrossChurch, where the heart of Chopin rests. Walk aportion of Prozna Street, the last remnant of the NaziWarsaw Ghetto. Stop at Maly Powstaniec (The LittleInsurgent), a statue dedicated to the children whofought in the Warsaw uprising of 1944. Reflect at theUmschlagplatz, where a monument stands to remindpeople that this was the place Jews from the ghettowere herded into rail cars to be transported to theTreblinka Extermination Camp. Spend time at theMuseum of Independence complex and visit thePawlak Prison and Mausoleum of Struggle andMartyrdom. see a portion of the Ghetto Wall andthen finish the day at the Nozyk Synagogue, the onlysurviving prewar Jewish house of prayer - still in usetoday.     May 9 – Lidice and Terezin Tour (Prague) – Today we will learn more about the non-Jewishvictims of the Third Reich. Travel to Lidice, a villagewhere the residents were slaughtered as revengefor the assassination of Nazi General Heydrich.You'll stop at the memorial to the murdered childrenof Lidice and a small museum here. Continue toTerezin, a Czech military fortress that wastransformed by the Nazis into a concentration camp.Those brought here were the local populations ofCzechoslovakia, Poland, Soviet Union, Yugoslavia,and Germany. It was designed to imprison thosewho opposed the Nazi regime, as well as Jews.Return to Prague for time to explore and shop in thecity, before returning to the hotel for dinner andovernight.
