LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS

Each year, we go to places in France to discover va-rious and typical lands-capes.We analyze the different proccesses that determine their present morphology.Geographic location, geo-logy, vegetation and cli-mate are sciences which provide informations on land-uses by humans.

We realized a diagnostic with a 4 persons group in order to establi-sh a master plan.We locate the main project orien-tations and the issues on site. Then we choose the project sites while maintaining a global cohe-rence among the group.

INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

THE FAST LANE AND THE SURROUNDINGS

The fast lane is divided in three sequences illustrated by different cross sections. I developped first open and closed points of view from the road, then I worked on the limits and the entrances of the economic activity area.I imagined a green grid between the fast lane and the built sector. The vegetation is composed of forest species.

The entrances in the activity area are caracterized by a wild grove composed of native species. The side-area is a large area planted with grass, it creates visual vertical supports in order to be read from a distance by the users.

The limits of the activity area are delimited with vertical red supports and small trees layer. These supports act like points of reference and direct the customers.
