• Growth – IPv4 availability is not guaranteed beyond 2020
• Performance
Stability - IPv6 is more stable across the network (less retrofitting)
Translation – As IPv4 starts becoming IPv4aaS, translation can impact user experience
Speed – By its very nature, IPv6 packet header processing is faster than IPv4
• Management – Dual stack is an unnecessary overhead
• Scalability – Single protocol, less resources consumed across the board
• Operations – Simplicity of one protocol coupled with ground-up integration to ease operations and implementation
• IPv6 is coming – Not if, when. Delay and it may be too late.
