Our team is in a city of 5 million+ on the west coast of Turkey. Turkey is a Muslim nation, though many people in our city practice a very relaxed form of Islam.

Our primary means of outreach is coaching American football at a university. As a result, many of the connections we have are with young men.

You will be able to spend time with these young men, but experience in coaching football is not required. Interns will have the opportunity to learn some Turkish, and you will be expected to share your testimony and engage in Gospel conversations with English speakers when possible. We practice simple Church, and use simple but powerful Bible studies as our primary tool in discipling. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to hear from God in ways that you may not have experienced before. We simply ask that you make yourself available and teachable.

Looking for a challenge? Join a long-term team in Jordan, partnered with the local church in aiding and evangelizing refugees affected by the wars in Syria and Iraq. Interns will attend Arabic language classes four mornings a week. Afternoons and evenings will be spent studying and preparing for class, visiting new friends, participating in church youth meetings, attending the local church, teaching English and serving the missionaries.

Jordan is not for everyone and there are some location specific requirements.

You must be: • At least 20 years old• Carrying a 3.0 cumulative GPA• Earning academic credit for this internship

(We can work with your school if your degree does not require an international internship)

• Above all, you need a heart to learn from, serve, and bless the experienced field workers.

Zenica is in the center of the lovely country of Bosnia-Herzegovina! The population is around 150,000 and about 85% of the city is Muslim.

Jeff and Beth have lived here for 15 years, working to implement discipleship making movements among the more devout Muslims in the community. They are actively seeking spiritually open people, as well as discipling new believers. Interns would be involved in church planting training in the local cultural context and implementing these disciple making movement strategies.

As an intern, you will also be directly involved in planning and implementing prayer weekends/events, as well as other outreach projects. If you have a heart for reaching Muslims and want to learn more about discipleship making movements in the Balkans, as well as grow as a believer, we want you in BiH in Summer 2016!

TEAM EXPANSION is focused on transforming communities among the unreached by planting Biblical churches.

Throughout the history of Team Expansion, our purpose has remained the same - to work together in teams in order to establish viable, multiplying communities of believers in some of the least reached places on the earth. From our start out of a prayer movement at then-Kentucky Christian College in 1978, through our first missionaries in 1982, and now with our more than 340 full time missionaries in over 40 countries, this has been our focus.

Simply put, we are church planters.

We believe that God wants all men to be saved (1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Pet. 3:9), and we are grateful that He has called us to be a part of spreading His glory among the last 7000 unreached people groups!

A summer as a Pathways intern will stretch you in more ways than you can imagine. Starting with fundraising (all fields have a flat-rate of $5000), through Pre-Field Orientation, during your 8 weeks overseas, and ending with debriefing, God will be working on your heart.

Pathways interns go in teams, and they work with established Team Expansion missionaries. They do everything from language learning to English-teaching, from VBS-style camps to planting sustainable gardens. Most importantly, they get a chance to see what missionary life is really like.

The province of Ancona is about 100,000 people. It is a port city along the beautiful Adriatic coast. Anconetani are known for being closed toward outsiders, including other Italians, yet Team Expansion has been working there for 15 years.

Currently, the Koval family is seeking to see the Gospel expand through such “best practices” as talking about Jesus the first time you meet someone, strategic prayer walks, 3/3 Method Bible Studies, etc. The vision is to see a disciple making movement!

Interns will be involved in English classes using the Bible, prayer walks, Bible Studies, and other outreach events. If you have a passion for talking about Jesus, a desire to train disciples to make disciples, if you want a deeper relationship with Jesus and are flexible, responsible, self-motivated and teachable, then we want YOU as an intern in 2016!

Over a hundred languages and distinct cultures make up the landscape of the small country of Ghana on the edge of the 10/40 window in West Africa.

The team’s focus is communicating the Gospel to the rural communities of the northern region, where 70% of the people learn orally.

Interns will come alongside the team working in oral tools production, agricultural, Bible storying and health lessons though house visits. Skills or interests in audio/video production, agriculture, or youth and children’s ministry are extremely helpful, but the most important trait is the desire to learn and work hard. Many opportunities to share Christ, one’s own story, and love for the Ghanaian people are available for motivated students.

Nine years ago Shemah Tours, an adventure tourism business, was created to gain access to unreached Muslim people groups in Indonesia. Each summer we partner with short term teams to build relationships and begin Discovery Bible Studies in the villages.

Our teams have a great time surfing, rock climbing, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and attending cultural events, but our main goal is to utilize tours to begin spiritual conversations. We also teach our teams how to use Discovery Bible Studies in their own ministry back home.

Interns will spend 1-2 weeks learning basic Indonesian language skills in Bali. Then, interns will learn the basics of our ministry and adventure activities in order to assist our short term teams. During tour season, we will sleep in local host family homes and survey new villages for openness. We need interns who are flexible, not afraid of basic living conditions, and love to have fun serving God!

Serving in North India is guaranteed to be an experience you will not forget. Although we live in a fairly developed city, the population is overwhelmingly unreached. Every taxi we get in, every shop we go into, and every home we sit in has idols prominently displayed, robbing God of glory that is due to Him.

In addition to experiencing life here and learning about Hindu, Sikh and Islamic culture, over your time here you will learn how church planting works in places with no known believers to start with. You will work alongside us in sowing seeds among the unreached, discipling believers, training leaders and hosting volunteer teams.

It’s guaranteed to be an experience you won’t forget but we’ll also make every effort to send you home exhausted, but by God’s grace better equipped and ready for more!
