IntroductionIntroduction
PASS-HB spray adjuvant is a polyether modified
trisiloxane based wetting agent, especialy used for
systemic herbicides which needs good spreading
ability as well as longer retention time on foliar
surface, like Glyphosate and so on.
PASS-HB is used to enhance efficacy of herbicides
relative to conventional adjuvants like tallow amine
ethoxylate based adjuvants.

Appearance: transparent light amber liquid
Surface tension (0.1%): < 21 mN/m
Viscosity: 40-80 mPa.s

Test conditions:Humidity:70-80% Temperature: 22-28℃Spray and record time: 2:30-3:00 PM (Sep, 2014)
Weeds to control:Digitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop in outside turf, Shanghai, China
Spraying solutions PH≈4:1. Water for reference2. Glyphosate 747 SG 5g/L in water3. Glyphosate 747SG 5g/L with PASS-HB 1g/L in water

With Glyphosate only: most drops slided down to the ground, and weedscan’t be covered by droplets evenly.
With Glyphosate + PASS-HB: weeds were totally wetted and covered bydroplets. And uptake of droplets much faster decreased time of absorbing,which will make it better rainfastness.

Field test result:
1. Glyphosate is effective to controlDigitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop weed inturf.
2. PASS-HB can increase coverage area ofGlyphosate droplets on weeds.
3. PASS-HB can shorter effect time ofGlyphosate on tested weeds, almosthalf time. Glyphosate-13days, when plusPASS-HB-only 6 days.
4. PASS-HB can increase efficacy ofGlyphosate in tested weed control.
