Sea Turtle Foundation’s mission is

Our Mission

Sea Turtle Foundation is Australia’s most recognised and reputable charity dedicated to the protection and conservation of sea turtles in Australia and the Indo-Pacific region. Since 2001, we have built a reputation as a professional and effective conservation organisation.

Sea Turtle Foundation is actively seeking corporate partnerships or donations to continue our sea turtle conservation work.

We provide a range of opportunities where businesses can directly impact conservation outcomes for turtles. Each partnership is unique and your interests and requirements will be discussed with one of our Directors to tailor an individual partnership plan. Indicative types of partnership plans we offer are presented in the following prospectus.

Introduction

“To safeguard sea turtle populations, migration routes and habitats, and support activities that increase sea turtle numbers worldwide.”

Sea turtles are one of the world’s most loved, iconic and therefore most marketable animals across all sections of the community. They serve important ecological functions in the marine environment but all species are threatened nationally and internationally. Turtles are recognised as an indicator of broader environmental health and, in recent years, have exposed significant environmental shifts. Multiple threats such as climate change, habitat modification, and pollution impact turtle populations and it is imperative that these threats are addressed.

Investing in sea turtles

Public perception in business is a critical factor in any marketing strategy. Now, more than ever, people evaluate businesses based on their sustainability and ethical credentials – people are empowered to make a difference through choice. In recognising this, Sea Turtle Foundation provides you with an opportunity to boost your business through a partnership with our organisation.
