When done manually, this entails a considerable workload for the weighbridge operators, leading to data compilation errors, making the information difficult to consult and transmit to other depar tments.

Stain has developed PESA+, an integrated module in the MILL+ suite, which automatically acquires photographs and weights of the lorries. This enhances the degree of control and reduces the time it takes to record the details.

Main functions of the PESA+ module

Computerized checks and recordings for each incoming batch of material: Recording of each incoming lorr y ’s registration number. Real-time acquisition of photographs of the full lorr y for date/time and material status cer tification. Automatic acquisition of the gross weight by the weighbridge. Printout of the weigh sheet with a barcode. Association of the supplier transpor t document and the materials. Real-time acquisition of photographs of the empty lorr y when it returns to the weighbridge. Automatic reading of the tare and calculation of the net weight. Recording of any notes by the weighbridge operator. Closure of the weighing c ycle and the automatic fi l ing of photos, notes and weights.
