Welcome ParticipantsThank you for your participation in the Lady Tutu 5k & Little Princess Dash, which takes place at Crocker Park in

Westlake, Ohio Saturday, June 4, 2016. We are thrilled to have you join us and cannot wait to see each of your

glamorous and colorful tutus. If you are from out of town, or out of state, welcome to Cleveland and Ohio.

This year Lady Tutu has been held in Cleveland at Crocker Park. One of the pleasures of hosting this is the second

event in various cities around Ohio is meeting amazing individuals, so we look forward to meeting each of you

Saturday.

This event is the final of the Ohio Lady Tutu race series this year. The first event was April 2 in Columbus. We are

grateful for the ability and opportunity to share this conjuncture across Ohio this year.

We want to thank our host venue, Crocker Park. We are appreciative for their kind hospitality in allowing us to stage

this event on their property. We hope that you will thank them by making a day of this event by shopping at their

stores and eating in their restaurants. As many of the locals will tell you, Crocker Park is one of the best places to shop

and eat in Cleveland, and I’m sure that if you are from out of town you will soon find this out for yourself.

We also want to thank our charity partner, Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every 38 minutes Make-A-Wish® grants the

wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States. We believe that a wish

experience can have an everlasting impact on the lives of these children. This belief guides and inspires us to pursue

event experiences that change the lives of the children that we serve.

In order to ensure you run or walk with participants of your own speed, you should self seed based on your pace.

Faster runners to the front, joggers in the middle, walkers and strollers towards the rear.

Only registered participants in the 5K or Little Princess Dash (and small children in strollers) may be on the course.

Little Princesses who are accompanied by a parent / guardian are not eligible for a medal at the end of the 5K. They

will receive their own award at the end of the Little Princess Dash.

Please visit the Crocker Park map at

http://www.crockerpark.com/map/ for a full list of parking

garages and surface lots. Our recommendation is to park at

the Crocker Road Garage. This garage also has a public

restroom.

Final Destination: Crocker Park

From 90 East or West – Take the Crocker Rd. exit, head south and turn

right onto Union St.

From 480 East or West – Take the Stearns Rd. exit (turns into Crocker

Rd.) and turn left onto Union St.

Bib NumbersWhen you check-in you will receive a

white envelope. Your envelope will have

your name on it and inside the envelope

will be your bib number, timing chip and

two orange twist ties. You will need to

use the twist ties to attach the timing

chip to one of your shoes (see photo

sequence below). Please DO NOT attach

the chip to your shoe with your shoes

laces as this can break the chip and cause

you to not receive a time.

The timing chips are reusable. We collect

them at the end of the race. Please look

for one of the tubs or buckets after the

finish and simply place your chip inside.

This event is chip timed. Two times are provided in the results: Chip Time and

Gun Time

Chip Time - Your actual time; This starts when you cross the mat at the start and

ends when you cross the mat at the finish.

Gun Time - Your calculated time; This starts when the horn/gun sounds at the

start of the race and ends when you cross the finish mat.

We use gun time to score and assign your finish position. If you want to be

considered for any awards you should position yourself as close to the front of

the starting group as possible. This complies with USATF Rules.

USATF Rule 245.3 - regarding transponder timing "The actual time elapsed

between an athlete reaching the starting line and finish line can be made known

to the athlete, but will not be considered as official time. In short, official time

per USATF rule is gun time."

Q: Are strollers allowed?

A: Yes, strollers are allowed. Please be sure to start at the back of the line to avoid the rush of

participants at the start of the race.

Q: Can I pickup race packets for my team members?

A: Yes. Please bring a confirmation with you or a listing of their names (and shirt sizes) as this will

speed up the process.

Q: I am coming from out of town, will there be race day pickup?

A: Yes. Race day pickup will start at 7:30 a.m.

Q: Can my Little Princess run/walk with me in the 5K?

A: Yes. As long as she is entered in the Little Princess Dash she can participate with you. However, at

the finish please do not take a medal for her. She will get her own award at the conclusion of her

event.

Q: How long is the Little Princess Dash?

A: The first event, for girls ages 4 and under is approximately 70 yards. The second event for girls

ages 5 and older is approximately 150 yards.

Q: Will there be race day registration?

A: Yes. There is race day registration.

Q: Do I need to register my child who will be in a stroller?

A: No. Infants or children in strollers do not need to be registered.

Event photography is provided by JPG Media. Photographs are

available after the race. We will let you know when they are

ready for downloading via Facebook and email.

Face Painting is provided by The Painted Peacock and starts at

7:00 a.m. Plan to arrive early if you want to participate.
