Hypothetical Tournament Walkthrough:● Steve Rodgers is an avid Pistol Whip player, he sees social media buzz about a Pistol Whip tournament being

produced by VAL. He decides to enter, he visits valvr.com/register and creates an account on the VAL website. He then clicks on tournaments, enters his IGN from Steam (where he plays Pistol Whip) and waits

for the 13th of March. He then plays Pistol Whip starting at 6 am PST on the 13th, playing non-stop till 10 pm PST on the 14th. After 40 hours of Pistol Whip, he checks the leaderboard. He is currently 4th in the world. He would really like to make it to the grand finals in Salt Lake City, so he goes to VALVR.com again and checks the arcade locator to find his nearest VR Arcade. The next week he enters the Arcade section of the tournament, which puts him in the running for more money, as well as a second chance to make it to the grand finals. Unfortunately, his score isn’t good enough to make it to the grand finals again. He scores 4th again. The top 3 combined scores from both tournaments are selected as finalists, which means they don’t get the prize money from either the home or arcade tournaments. Leaving our friend Steve in a better position for more prize money. Steve placed 4th in both tournaments, and the top 2 players from the home tournament and the top player from the arcade tournament had the three highest scores. Leaving Steve in 2nd for the home tournament and 3rd in the arcade tournament, meaning Steve won a total of $700.
