Access to Midwifery You will study midwifery studies, psychology, health scienceandsociology.Workexperienceformsanessential part of the course.

Access to Nursing You will study health science, nursing studies, psychologyandsociology.Itisessentialtodoworkexperience/voluntaryworkoutsidestudyhours,asthis will support your application to university. You are expected to find a placement in time for the start of the course.

Access to Radiography DBSYou will follow subjects that will aid your application toaBachelorofScienceprogramme,includingphysics, mathematics, biology and wider sciences, plusaworkexperienceplacementwiththeNHS.

Access to Social Work DBS You will study sociology and psychology, social policy,socialworktheoryandpractice.Itisessentialtodoworkexperience/voluntaryworkoutsideyourstudy hours, as this will support your application to university. You are expected to find a placement in time for the start of the course.

ApprenticeshipsAn apprenticeship is a great way to get on-the-job training leading to a nationally recognised qualification whilst earning a wage.

Who can be an apprentice?Anyone aged 16 or over and employed for at least 30 hours per week. If you don’t have a job, we might be able to help you find one. If you are already working we can help you upskill your current job.

What will I earn?The minimum average wage for an Apprentice is £3.30/hour. In London the average is £190 per week, but this will vary depending on the job and your employer.

500,000people started an apprenticeship last year.

90%were employed at the end.
