bedroom group, Montserrat Club, and a sophisti-

cated French country collection, Chateau Lyon, to a

fresh French Deco collection, Paragon Club, and a

casual French outdoor collection by Richard Frinier,

Maison Jardin, Century has created an amazing

space dedicated to French designs. Mixed in with

these new collections, they found time to revisit one of

their most successful French collections, Consulate,

and add twenty new pieces to it to complement the

existing line.

“As our design team started planning for

this year, we looked at the lifestyles we are

seeing in the marketplace and the designs

today’s consumers are asking for and came

up with several collections,” says Eric Gra-

ham, Senior Director of the Case goods Divi-

sion and Outdoor for Century Furniture.

“Ironically many of them had French inspira-

tion at their root and the idea of having all of

our product launches center around one place

became very appealing. It gives us a continu-

ity across all of our product lines—case

goods, upholstery and outdoor, which we feel

our dealers will appreciate.”

Montserrat Club, with wire brushed ash

veneers and a washed linen finish, and

Chateau Lyon, a collection with cast iron

moldings and a rich, honey brown finish on

walnut, cherry, pecan, maple and mahogany

solids, are more casual and relaxed, while

Paragon Club with its carved Deco detailing

and metal accents on Mahogany solids with

Mozambique veneers is a refined transitional

collection. In Consulate, walnut solids

and maple burl, santos rosewood, and

American and French walnut veneers

along with delicate tasseled hardware,

give the pieces more formality. Finally,

Maison Jardin, inspired by the region of

Provence, is a classically styled collec-

tion of finished teak and cast and ex-

truded aluminum.
