Pastor’s Word

(Mat 2:1-12)THE GLORIOUS SEASON

The birth of the Lord Jesus ushered in a glorious season. Not many were aware of what was happening, but heaven was on high alert because a miracle was unfolding right before its eyes. In this season one may simply think that what is happening is but routine, but heaven is waiting to drop a miracle in your lap.

We are told of the Magi (wise men) who came from the east guided by a star. Some welcomed the birth, but others were fearful of the implications.

May God open your eyes to see the glorious season that is before us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Let heaven touch you today. May God give us a celebrative heart as we come and adore Him.

Arise and shine.

CHRISTMAS A REASON FOR CELEBRATION

John 1:1-16

Indeed, Christmas is here and we join the angels to sing, “Glory to God in the high-est, peace and good will to all men” [Lk 2:14]. This song conveys the joy we have as a church in this season and also as we remember what the Lord has done for us as a church in the year of the Lord’s Glorious Presence. If it was not for the Lord’s pres-ence we would not be here today.

It was this year that we had a very successful Revival Week and many lives were changed and the gospel was spread far and wide. It was in that week that the church also celebrated its 40th anniversary since the church was started in 1976. It was our me of saying #Crossing Over. Like the children of Israel, we as a church have crossed over and have entered into another era of proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom.

We have also hosted various events and recently the Jerusalem-Nairobi conference. God indeed has been Ebenezar in all these things. We have seen lives changed, and many becoming members of the church. Many have bapzed by immersion. The Kingdom of God keeps advancing.

Christmas is a celebraon of the King and His Kingdom and all that God connues to do within us a body of Christ. To all who have been part of this thrust—God richly bless you. Christmas simply is:

1. The Word becoming flesh - GOD’S PRESENCE. 2. The Word dwelling among us - GOD’S FAVOR. 3. The Word revealing the grace of God - GOD’S SALVATION. 4. The Word shining the glory of God - GOD’S PURPOSE.

As we enjoy the celebraon of the season, may we find ourselves in God’s agenda of the Kingdom! You are precious in His sight. You are honored to walk with Him. You are loved and embraced into His family. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Arise and shine.

Pastor Ambrose

Oh come let us Adore Him.
