P.T.A.A. Rosary and heroic will be recited in the Church during Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

ROSCOMMON GARDEN CLUB: The Christmas Charity Gala Night is on Thursday 10th December
at the Abbey Hotel at 8PM. Guest demonstrator Christopher White and all proceeds from

CHRISTMAS MEMORIES: At Roscommon Arts Centre, Sat. 5th Dec at 8 pm one night only. Anthony O’Boyle
(brother of Martina Mulligan) returns to that great tradition, the art of storytelling where he takes a nostalgic look back at Christmas in a small rural village in the West of Ireland in an era that has passed only recently. Vocalists Petrova Mulvey and Margaret Mulligan both members of Athlone musical Society make this a unique show with some beautiful songs while Anthony narrates a homely heart-warming collection of tales. Samaritans Christmas Concert: The Samaritans Christmas Concert will be held in
the Franciscan Friary Church, Athlone on Thursday, 10th December at 8pm. It will
feature the Army Band, Tenor David Martin, Athlone A Cappella and Athlone Town

Roscommon Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service at Vita House is a free service funded
by the HSE National Office for suicide Prevention that provides 1:1 support & information
to individuals & families grieving the death of a loved one by suicide. The Suicide
Bereavement Liaison Officer can meet with you in your own home or at a location that is most
convenient. Christmas Market (in aid of Roscommon cancer Support) Free admission on the
day. Sunday the 13th of December from 1pm till 5pm. The Abbey Hotel will be transformed
with the sights, sounds and aroma of a Tradition Christmas Market. You can showcase your
crafts and buy a stall for €25 or make it a family day. ‘Something to sing about’ will finish of

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: Sixteen Parishioners have recently completed the
Training Course to be Eucharistic Ministers. They will be commissioned at 10:30 am
Mass this Sunday. On Sunday 6th December, there will be a get together of ALL our
