must speak to Father Bill to let him know that you need low gluten host and it will be made available to you.

"In compliance to the State of North Carolina and CDC requirements, everyone participating during school masses will have to wear masks and their temperatures taken prior to entering the church.
Thank you for your cooperation."
If you are attending Annunciation and are not registered with the Parish as a member, we have no idea if you are a participating Catholic or not, so please register and if you can not afford to give monetarily please put a blank visitors envelope in the
offertory so that we know you are attending. Also for all of you who pay by cash we really appreciate it but if you would put it in an envelope we could track that you are attending as well. It is important when it comes to all the Sacraments. We can not say you are active if we do not know. Thank you…
Now is the perfect time to call the parish office at (252)447-2112 to update your

The Knights Corner Catholic Daughters of the Americas
Court #2588, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, meets the second Tuesday of each Month after 7pm Mass. Have you been thinking about different ways you can help less fortunate people in
our area, especially women and children? Would you like to belong to a group of active, spiritual Catholic women who have answered that call to help? If you are a Catholic woman over 18 years of age, please consider joining the Catholic Daughters of the Americas! Through CDA with our Court here at Annunciation, you will have many opportunities to share your talents and gifts in many various and meaningful ways. We have several local, State, and National charities that we help such as The Coastal Women’s Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, and Havelock Pregnancy Center – just to name a few. The Run for Life race in January is one of our fund-raising events, that and Bunco! We are a social bunch so we also host several social events such as Hospitality Sunday on Father’s Day and Feast of the Annunciation. We invite you to join us! We are still meeting as scheduled and we are practicing all required social distancing measures. Contact our Court Regent via email for more information: [email protected]. Please visit the Catholic Daughters website in the meantime at www.catholicdaughters.org for more information about Catholic Daughters of the Americas! We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to Court 2588!
Catholic Daughters Socks –n- Undies Program Court 2588 is collecting new socks and undies for school-age children in our local community who are in need of these basic necessities. At this time, we are only collecting new socks and undies, ages 4 to 14. Your donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped in the box in the Narthex. For more information, contact Denise Miller. God bless you for your generosity.
Diocesan Mass for Life “A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world…let us therefore discover anew the humility and the courage to pray and fast so that the power from on high will break down the walls of lies and deceit: the walls which conceal from the sight of so many…the evil of practices and laws which are hostile to life.” (Pope St John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae 100)
Come and join us on January 16, 2021, at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral as we pray and proclaim the dignity of human life. Rosary begins at 10:30; Mass with the bishop starts at 11:00.

Did you know… Each January, families at Annuncia-tion are asked to confirm that they will enroll for the next school year. This part of our planning process allows us to admit new students without going over our class size limits! Please plan now to complete your re-enrollment forms next month! Counselor’s Corner from Mrs. Rykhus: “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” Saints Day Out: Annunciation Catholic Preschool is hosting a “Saint’s Day Out” every Friday morning from 9am to 10:30am. We will start up for the new year again on Friday, Jan. 9. Join our Pre K 3 stu-dents for some awesome activities and introduce your-selves to our amazing preschool teachers. “Thank you” to Fr. Bill, as always, for providing our students with the opportunity for the sacra-
ment of reconciliation during Advent. We believe that the sacramental grace works miracles in their hearts, and we are so grateful for the opportunity
to have a Catholic School here in Havelock!
