CHANGELent is all about change and change is usually not
easy. In order to change we have to leave something behind.Today we hear about a very old man who decides to answerGod’s call. Abram experiences a tremendous amount ofchange when he leaves everything behind, risking it all forGod’s promise. Jesus changes, is transfigured, right beforethe eyes of his disciples. The Lenten scriptures issue the callfor us to change, to be transfigured, so that we, too, will soonshare in the glory of God. What is it that the Lord is askingus to leave behind? SHRINE OFFERS LENTEN REFLECTIONS ONMATTHEW’S PASSION St. Martin de Porres National Shrineand Institute will offer three reflections entitled “The Passion ofChrist in the Gospel of Matthew” during Lent. Great News, CDOM Family - The Tennessee State Board ofNursing recently approved plans by Christian BrothersUniversity to start an entry-level Bachelor of Science inNursing program (cbu.edu/nursing), which will now beginaccepting students for this fall. The BSN program was institutedto help address the shortage of qualified nurses in Memphis andthe Mid-South region. Also, CBU is now the only Catholicnursing program in the state of Tennessee and the only onein the entire area from St. Louis to New Orleans.
