A letter from our president Hello all! My name is Sophie Luckette and I am thrilled to be serving as the current in term elected President for our chapter of Alpha Phi, Eta Tau, here at SUNY Cortland. This is my second year serving on our Executive board, after a very successful year as Director of Administration. In just the two short years I have been a member, it has been an absolute pleasure to see our Chapter grow and thrive. Being a key part of this growth makes my college experience more meaningful than ever. Alpha Phi provides an immense amount of opportunities: from community service, to supporting our specialized philanthropy, local and national networking, and most of all, bonds between myself and hundreds of other women I have found through this organization. I am absolutely ecstatic to continue to build this Chapter to the very best it can be. With the help of my wonderful Executive Board, and the voices from over 100 other women I can call my sisters, I am very much looking forward to positive changes. Whether you are a sister, alumnae, parent, or prospective member, I hope you all find satisfaction and comfort within Alpha Phi one day as I have. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please always feel free to contact me. Payment Breakdown The Eta Tau chapter of Alpha Phi at SUNY Cortland provides our sisters with three different types of payment plans for our annual dues. This variety allows our chapter’s members to choose which payment option best fits them. We work very closely with our sisters to assist them and their families with any financial questions, concerns or issues they may have regarding payment. These dues make it possible to do numerous activities and events which increase sisterhood, scholarship and unity within our chapter.

KEEPING UP WITH ALPHA PHI JANUARY, 2017

Save The Date: Red Dress Gala

Alpha Phi’s philanthropic focus is women’s heart health. We will be having our annual Red Dress Gala this spring on April 8th. We want to invite the family and friends of all our sisters to come celebrate with us while raising money and awareness for cardiac care and it’s research. There will be lots of food and raffles! We hope to see you there.

Super Bowl Sunday Snow Tubing at Greek Peak Mountain

This spring we are excited to accept another pledge class of amazing new sisters! Our recruitment process has been very successful so far, our rush theme is the Great GatsPHI, based on the 1920’s themed movie “The Great Gatsby”. We even filmed a recruitment video, which was given great reviews. Check out the video on youtube “Alpha Phi Cortland - Spring 2017 Recruitment”.
