When? Talks are available online any time, any day, from January 25-June 30. New talks are aired each Monday through March, with all talks available through the end of June. How? Whether you are a parent or teacher, Parents as Partners Online is a beneficial way to further your Suzuki education! PARENTS AS PARTNERS ONLINE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! MacPhail Suzuki Association (MSA) raises funds for receptions at faculty and string concerts and Piano Extravaganza. It provides scholarship funds for student travel and for teacher education. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

MacPhail Suzuki Association (MSA) raises funds for receptions at faculty and string concerts and Piano Extravaganza. It provides scholarship funds for student travel and for teacher education.

SUZUKI FACULTY RECITALFriday, March 11, 20166 p.m., Antonello HallFree Admission

Come listen to your teachers perform pieces for students and families. Join us to hear the sounds of the Suzuki Faculty playing Cello, Guitar, Harp, Piano, Viola and Violin.

Featured performers include: Sarah Kang, Nikki Lemire, Alan Johnston, Heather McLaughlin, Chris Mattaliano, Tamara Gonzalez, Annette Lee, Jean Seils, and Andrea French. Works by Debussy, Bach, Schubert, Bergmuller, Thomas, and more! There will also be a piece arranged to pay homage to David Bowie!

The Suzuki Faculty present this recital as a fundraiser for the Suzuki Tour Fund. Donations will be used to reduce the cost of tours for families and fund student scholarships.

Suggested donations $10/Adult, $5/Student. Please make checks payable to MSA.Please join us after the recital for a reception in the U.S. Bank Lobby

centers to perform piano pieces and socialize with the residents.

MSA student scholarships fund for the trip to Italy. The folks that attended the concert donated $521. Wow!

SPRING PLANT SALE!

The MacPhail Suzuki Association sponsors various fundraising opportunities for students who plan to participate in Suzuki Program tours. Our next MacPhail Suzuki tour is a trip to Italy in June, 2016. Funds raised by students will be applied directly to their personal trip account and will offset their tour expenses. You can start raising funds now for a tour in the future!

Did you know that we have Suzuki PianoTeacher Training at MacPhail?

Emily Shively, from Maple Grove, and our very own Annella Kochanowski participated in the first Book 2 Teacher Course offered at MacPhail with Annette Lee.

These teachers meet every month to review the skills needed to teach Piano Book 2. The course comprised of 15 hours of teacher instruction and 8 hours of observation. Emily and Annella completed the course on January 26th.
