Green with Jealousy

MATERIALS: 2 bottles of liquid glue, 3-4 tbs of saline (contact solution), 1 tbs of baking soda, and green food coloring

1Making Slime1. Add all the ingredients into a bowl.2. Stir the mixture.3. If the mixture still seems loose, add another tablespoon of

contact lens solution.4. Mix the mixture using your hands. If the mixture sticks to

hands, use contact lens solution to help get it off.5. Let kids play with slime.

Discussion QuestionsDuring the activity choose some of the following questions/topics to talk about:1. Explain what ‘Green with Jealousy’ means.2. Give examples of how when we are jealous it clouds

our judgement and ability to make wise choices. Refer back to King Saul who was jealous of David.

3. Have you ever felt jealous? What did you do when you were jealous?

4. Discuss how when we are jealous we should go to God for wisdom and he will help us.
