Parent Survey 2016

Methodology

• Parents were sent the survey from each school site. The survey was also located on District website.

• Parents could take the survey between 6/3/16 and 6/18/16. Over 70% responded on the first day.

• There were 24 questions.

• The responses were anonymous.

The goal is that 90% or higher of the responses to each question would be “Strongly Agree” or “Agree.”

Number of Responses

Overall, there were 315 people who responded.

Themes of High School Comments(at least three comments)

• Too much pressure and too much homework

• Too early start time- high schoolers need more sleep

• Very good HS experience overall

• Teacher absences not managed very well

• Teacher feedback varied and not timely

• No consistency between teachers posting grades on Aspen
