We will end the week by celebrating with an authentic Made-In-Michigan lunch. (There is no cost. ) May 23 rd - FINAL DAY for taking an AR test before the program ends!!! May 26 th - Memorial Day ---NO SCHOOL--- Thank a soldier! May 28 th - Tentative date for Field Day (Get your camp shirts ready to wear.) May 30 th - 9-1:00 Field trip to Pine River Nature Center! We’ll need drivers! Jun 2 nd - Please note change: 1:30 March of Dimes Award Assembly in Gym Jun 6 th - Our TE PTA presents “Donuts with Dad” at 7:30am Jun 11 th - Edison Awards Assemblies (ours will be in our classroom) Class play (We’ll be performing in honor of Mr. Ed’s retirement) June 13 th - Scavenger Hunt/Cookout to celebrate the last day of school A big THANK YOU goes out to the parents who were able to pick up and bring us the 100 Acorn Reward lunch! “Many hands make light work” and I’m so glad we were able to collect money, get the food, and celebrate our campers’ success!

Mrs. Fowler has told us that May 23rd will be our final day with her and all books ARE DUE then. Please help her endeavors of closing up the library on time by returning all books that day.This week we will be having two beekeepers come to speak to 1st grade about bees, their life cycle, honey production, and more! We can’t wait to see our research become HANDS-ON and be able to ask our many questions!The Upland Hills Farm trip was a lot of fun and we thank the many parents who were able to join us! If you are a parent who was unable to attend, please consider coming on the Pine River Nature Center trip. We will need
