Dojo points- You may have seen a decline in the frequency of points being given. This in no wayindicates bad classroom behavior, its just that the amount of tech time were spending is being gearedmore toward ScootPad practice. Id much rather have the iPad in the kids hands, using it for learningthan camped out at my table, waiting for me to use it to issue dojo points!

I have recently posted on the protopage a listing of great educational apps. Check it out by clicking onthe Parents Page tab and see what you think. The kids are going to love them!

WANTED: We are down to two containers of Chlorox wipes and could really use more. We usethese wipes each day to wipe down our desks before eating our Brain Break and they really help uskeep the bacteria from spreading. Thanks so much!

March Is Reading Month: The committee has chosen Charlottes Web as the book our ENTIRE schoowill be reading. Trivia questions will be asked on the morning announcements and prizes will be givenPlease read the book to/with your children, following the reading calendar that was sent on Thursday.

Also, after you read, record it on your March Book-It and March of Dimes forms. When were donereading the book, we will take an AR test on it. It is worth FIVE points in the system!

The local March of Dimes chapter came out to talk to us this week about raising money for babies bornfrom a premature birth. Camp Cronce was deeply touched and eager to help out! Give what/if youcan, but complete the log sheet, as IT IS HOMEWORK. Each child MUST record a minimum of nine

books on it before turning the log in to me. Keep it in a safe place with your March Book-It and recordnightly the books your child has read to you at home. Return the reply card to class without postageI will collect them and deliver them to our local chapter. The March of Dimes will come again in May toaward top book readers as well as top money-earners. MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN to children whohave read nine books or more! See the March of Dimes info that is coming home today!

Looking forward to the week ahead,
