SCOOTPAD: Its heeeeere! Coming home today is a sign-in letter for you to begin your childsScootPad homework at home. I have already created an account for each child; you simply have tolog in with the information given. Youll notice a small cheat card has been placed into the frontcover of your childs camp folder. Please keep this card in this spot, as it will serve us all nicelywhen we need to log on. I cant wait to begin this adventure with your camper. ScootPad ROCKS!

Our Halloween festivities will begin at noon after lunch. We will be having a normal morning:Spelling test, literacy centers, AR testing, etc. Therefore, DO NOT send your child to school wearinghis/her costume. We will dress after lunch at noon to prevent food stains. Then, we will do funHalloween centers! I will need your help with this, as there will be 5 stations for our campers togo through. We will lead the all-school parade from 1:15-1:45 and then return to our room tofinish our last center. Donation notes were sent Wednesday for those of you who signed up duringour Meet&Greet, but if anyone else would like to donate, spoons and candy would be appreciated!

Sweet Sentence: Soon, we will be having a more challenging spelling opportunity for campers whopass their Wednesday pretest. On Fridays, passing campers will be asked to write the weeksSweet Sentence. (Its a sweet sentence, because they get a sweet as they test on it! )

Confused about Book-It/DRA/AR/? I have linked a video to the protopage (under the Reading tab)to explain the three in greater detail. If you have further questions, PLEASE see me!

TABLE TALK: What Mrs. Cronce should dress up as for Halloween (these were funny!), Fun Mathcenters, coin banks (thanks for the Camp Store donations, Christopher and Ward families!!), iPadfree-time for our acorn reward party, and finding our hats and mittens for recesses ! Brrrr

Looking forward to the week ahead,
