    Dear Middle School Parents,

    We are excited, Classroom Without Walls is here! Students and teachers have been

    preparing for the week and we are now ready! We will be in contact via email during

    the week with updates on each of the grade level experiences, and specically for those

    that are staying overnight o campus. Should you have any quesons or concerns

    please do not hesitate to contact the Middle School Oce. We look forward to learning

    more about and connecng with the Philippines during this week specically the peo-

    ple, places, history, culture and the environment. Reecng with your child when they

    return from these experiences is important and will hopefully allow you to engage insome rich discussions.

    The week aer CWW we have our Middle School Parent Coee on Tuesday February 17

    at 7:45 -9:00in the Lile Theater. We will be sharing about what is happening in our

    Middle School along with learning about digital cizenship.

    Please be reminded that if you should be making alternate arrangements for your child

    to be going home with someone else that it is important you inform the Middle School

    Oce with the name of the adult that they will be going with (whether this is another

    student's family driver, or a parent). By leng us know in advance it helps our security

    team when students are leaving the campus. Your cooperaon is very much appreciat-

    ed.

    FEBRUARY

    Leaving ISM?

    Please be reminded that parents are obliged to ocially inform the School in wring through a

    WITHDRAWAL NOTIFICATION FORM if their children will not be returning in August for School

    Year 2015-16. Families are encouraged to submit the Withdrawal Nocaon Form, stang the

    student's nal date of aendance, immediately. Forms must be submied on or before May 8.

    Failure to submit the form by that date may lead to a deducon of US$1,000 from the Facilies

    Upgrade Deposit (FUD), in compensaon for having held a space for your child, prevenng the

    School from oering that space to another candidate.

    The Withdrawal Nocaon Form can be obtained from the Admissions Oce or directly from

    the ISM website under Admission > Re-Enrollment & Withdrawal > Withdrawals

    Please feel free to contact the Admissions Oce at 840.8601 for quesons or claricaons.

    MS CWW next week-Please note due to CWW, there

    will not be any MS ATAC 3rd season team training next

    weekFeb 9-13. 3rd season training for Badminton and

    Track will resume from week beginningFeb 16. MS

    Mixed Touch tryouts will be heldFeb 18 and 20and

    MS Mixed Soball Club will beginThurs Feb 26.

    IASAS Tennis at ISManila-Well our fantasc tennis

    teams and coaches did it again this year and won

    GOLD at IASAS. This is the 4th and 5th championship in

    row for the boys and girls tennis teams. A wonderful

    achievement acquired through hard work, passion and

    a 'never beaten' atude on the court. Congratula-

    ons!

    IASAS Rugby/Touch/Swimming at ISB-Girls Touch also

    had the gold fever by winning this year in Bangkok. A

    great eort by all the girls and our coaches and a

    ng farewell for Coach Wislang who coached for the

    last me at this tournament and was able to add one

    more IASAS gold to his collecon. Our boys rugby

    team baled hard and played with real spirit placing

    4th. Our swim teams also raced hard placing 5th boys

    and 4th girls and broke many PB's and ISM school rec-

    ords along the way. Thanks to Coach Holly/Hazel and

    DJ and all our Bearcat swimmers.

    IASAS Basketball at Taipei TAS-Our girls basketball

    team had a dream run geng into the nal vs SAS

    without losing a match however came up agonizingly 2

    pts short in a classic nal. The girls will be even more

    determined next year. Our boys team had their chanc-

    es and played a good tournament to make the 3/4

    playo game but nished in 4th place this year.

    Thank you very much to all families for your hospitality

    to house our vising tennis athletes. It was a great

    event for our community hosted at the best tennisvenue in IASAS. A big thanks also to our parent sup-

    porters for each of the teams that traveled and sup-

    ported our Bearcats whether overseas or here at

    home.

    It is an excing me coming up with the end of season

    2 and the start of season 3 having now arrived. Season

    3 pracce and tryouts schedule have been posted on

    noce boards and on the ATAC blog. Season 3 sports

    for HS are Track & Field, Soball, Badminton and Golf.

    MS do the same sports in season 3 with the excepon

    of golf.

    Please note the pracce mes for the following ATAC

    programs:ATAC all year round teams- 3:15-4:30. Sail-

    sh/Gymnascs and all HS seasonal teams now con-

    clude pracce at4:50pmeach day. MS seasonal

    teams3:10-4:45pm. The last bus is now4:55pmand

    all aer school programs will conclude by4:50pmin

    order to try and clear the campus prior to5pmdue to

    the ever increasing trac concerns in our area.

    links to our sports and acvies program. If you have

    any quesons regarding the compeve program of

    sports at ISM aer reading the informaon on the blog

    Bearcat Den-drop by our fantasc spirit store. There

    is a range of new products and items to purchase in-

    cluding items from our service partners. Bearcat Den

    hours of operaon- 7am-4pmMon-Fri.

    The ATAC game schedule pdf which is updated regu-

    larly by Triz Gonzalez (ATAC Athlecs Coordinator)

    gives the most up to date informaon on where/when

    and who our Bearcat teams will be playing throughout

    the school year. Access to the game schedule is via the

    ISM parent portal. Use this link to access the parent

    portal, log in with your user name/password and look

    for the ATAC Game Schedule tab. Remember to re-

    fresh the page when the pdf schedule appears so you

    view the most current schedule.

    Join fellow ISM parents and alumni for a fun day on the green! All ISM Parents are invited to join the 95 FORE 95 Alumni Golf Tournament onThursday, Feb-ruary 26, 2015at the South Course -Canlubang Golf & Country Club.

    All proceeds go to the Vicky SyCip Herrera Philippine Scholarship Foundation.

    Scrip money will be available at the registration table, cash transactions are not accepted at tee houses.

    Lunch buffet will be served at12:30 PMat the Clubhouse

    Please observe the Canlubang Golf & Country Club dress code -No sleeveless tops and open toe footwear/slippers.

    Success in fun holes (2, 4, 8, 11, 13 & 17) qualify player for raffle prizes
