The ChallengeJBU had two existing print management systems in place and a wide variety of print devices in use. A project to introduce new Toshiba MFPs seemed an ideal time to upgrade print management to allow usage tracking and chargeback.

How PaperCut Helped Faculty and staff now have their printing charged to their department at a per-page rate. This automated and simple chargeback removes the need for departments to purchase their own print consumables for cost allocation – instead, purchasing is now centralized through theITdepartment.

Studentshaveaprintquotaassignedpersemester,andthenmustaddtotheirbalancethroughthe PaperCut Pay Stations if required.
