B I T E M E P izza erfect @ La Bella PIZZA BISTRO Written by Anchel Alcantara Photography by Alexander Banaag II Art Design by James Siador The Paper Clips foodie trio, Carrie, Alex, and I, have had our mouths and tummies filled with one of Cebu’s best-tasting pizzas. We ate our fill of gastronomic heaven at La Bella Pizza Bistro in Talamban, Cebu City. A recipient of the Best of Cebu award given by local news provider Sun.Star Cebu, La Bella Pizza Bistro cooks their pizzas in a wood-fired brick oven, roasting the mozzarella to chewy perfection and baking the crust to a tempting crisp outside and softness in the middle. That’s just the crust. What about a variety of fresh toppings that taste as good as they look? If these aren’t enough to whet your imagination and appetite, we insist that you go try the pies yourself, and we dare say you won’t be sorry. Aside from the selection of mouthwatering pizzas, the menu boasts authentic Italian fare such as appetizers and salads, pizza wraps, and pastas. And if you fancy traditional pasta dishes, La Bella can prepare them with tagliatelle, a kind of pasta that is flat and usually thinner and narrower than fettuccine. Yummers! The lip-smacking goodness of La Bella’s menu goes perfectly well with the stylish interior. Walls are installed with paintings from Italy and the ceiling adorned with mason-jar chandeliers, a creative idea by the owner Ana Celdran Corominas. Visit La Bella Pizza Bistro at the ground floor of E-Park Building, Minoza Street, Talamban, Cebu City, and enjoy a five-percent discount when you present your ASPI ID. Operang hours from Monday to Thursday are from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and from Friday to Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Like them on Facebook at hps://www. facebook.com/pages/La-Bella-Pizza-Bistro-E- Park/766002396774860.
