Paper Flower Wreath InstructionsPROJECT LISTPaperBrads or ButtonsJewelry Thread or Thin WireRibbonPipe Cleaner Needle or hook to punch small holes

STEP 1Cut out flower patterns either by hand or using the downloadable files with your die cut machine.

STEP 2Create your “flowers” by folding across the centers of the petals. You can layer the three flowers (or two if you would like) “mismatching” (see demonstrated on the side) or matched up.

STEP 3 Cut a piece of wire about 3 inches in length.

If you are placing a brad in the middle, use a needle or hook to punch a small hole in the middle of the flower. Place the brad in and twist a piece of wire or jewelry thread around the back of the brad. Then push the two sides down to secure it. (see illustration)

If you are using a button, punch two holes close together in the center of the flower. Thread the wire through the hole and button and back through again so that both pieces of wire end up on the back. Twist the back together to secure the button.

STEP 4Create a 2 identical circles using the pipe cleaner (2 pieces for a child’s head, 3-4 pieces for an adult’s head) by twisting the ends together. (You can do one circle but 2 provides a thicker wreath.) Place each flower on the circle by using the loose wires from the flower to secure it to the pipe cleaner circle.

STEP 5Wrap ribbon around the circle (wreath) by weaving in and out and around the flowers. Leave long ends in the back. Secure by knotting the ribbon in the back.
