Pan London eAdmissions System 1. Registration Process Click on the ‘Register to apply online’ link to be taken to the ‘User registration’ page. How to proceed: - Fill in your details on the form.

‘User Registration’ Page

After entering your title and name – type your postcode into the ‘Postcode Field’ and click the ‘Find your address’ button.

This should produce a dropdown list of the addresses linked to that postcode see the following screen shot.

Please Note: You can only apply online if your address is found by the eAdmissions System

Select your address from the dropdown list and click the ‘Add Address to Form’ button.

Enter your email address 2 times on the form:

Please Note: You must have an email address to register with the eAdmissions system.

This is because you will receive your username and password by email, as well as any ‘Submitted Application’ confirmation emails and any future reminder emails.

It is easy to sign up for a free email account, e.g. with MSN or Google.

Completed ‘User Registration’ Page

Make sure you enter as many contact numbers as possible so that the borough can contact you should they need to.

Once you have checked the details entered on the ‘User Registration’ form, click the ‘Register’ button to proceed with your registration.

You will be then taken to the ‘Thank you for registering with the Pan London eAdmissions system’ page.

Close down the above page and go to your email account, where you will shortly receive an email asking you to confirm your email address.

Click on the link in the email to confirm your email address.

If you have confirmed your email address successfully you will be taken to the ‘Validation’ page.

You will now receive 2 emails – one with your username and the other with your password.

Once you have received both emails - click on the link in either email to be taken to the login page to start your application.

2. Login Process

Enter your username and password and click the login button to log into the eAdmissions System.

If you have forgotten your username or password click on the ‘Forgotten your username or password?’ link to be taken to the ‘Forgotten login details’ page.

Follow the instructions to be sent reminder emails.

Please Note: You will always be sent a new password.

The first page you see when you log in is the ‘My School Admissions’ Page.

This is your home page from where you can start new applications, edit previously started or submitted applications or just view the details of any submitted applications.

When the results for an admissions round is published then you will be able to see the outcome of your online application here as well.

3. The Application Process

To start an application login and at the bottom of the ‘My School Admissions’ page

Select the type of application you want to start

The first page you will see upon starting an application will be a page explaining the application process for the application type you are starting.

When you have read the information on this page click the ‘Continue’ button at the bottom of the page.

Please Note: Secondary school applications are made to the borough where the child’s home address is located, the system finds this by linking the child’s postcode to the relevant Local Authority.

Nursery, Primary, Junior or Middle school applications all require you to select the borough you want to apply to before proceeding to the ‘Child Details’ page.

Select the borough you want to apply to from the ‘Select a borough’ dropdown list.

Click ‘Continue’ to go to the ‘Child Details’ page.

Fill in the child’s details on ‘Child Details’ page –

Please Note: the borough logo will only appear on a secondary application once you have clicked the ‘Save and Continue’ button at the bottom of the ‘Child Details’ page.

Please note: If the child’s home address is not found by the system then

a paper application must be completed.

Click the ‘Add Address to Form’ button to insert the child’s address on the form.

Nursery, Primary, Junior, Middle and Harrow high schools ‘School Selection’ Page. You can add a nursery, primary, junior, middle or Harrow high school in 2 ways: -

1. Use the ‘Add a school’ section – First select the school you want to apply for from the ‘Select a school’ dropdown list and click then ‘Add School’ button to go to the ‘School Details’ page to complete the selection of this school.

2. ‘Add a school using map’ – click the ‘Add school using map’ button to be taken to a

map of the borough you are applying to. This map will show the location of all the relevant phase schools in the borough you are applying to. Click on a pin to see the details of the school it represents. Click the ‘Add School to Application’ button to add the school to your application and be taken to the ‘School Details’ page for this school to complete the selection.

Secondary School ‘School Selection’ page.

You can add a secondary school in 3 ways: -

1. Using the ‘Add a school’ section – First select the borough the school you want apply for is located in from the ‘Select a borough’ dropdown list, then select the school you want from the ‘Select a school’ dropdown list and finally click the ‘Add School’ button to be taken to the ‘School Details’ page to complete the selection of the school.

Please note: The list of schools you can select in a borough will only contain the secondary schools maintained by the borough you have selected.

2. Using the ‘Add a school from a map’ section – click the ‘Add School using Map’ button to be taken to a map showing all the secondary schools located within 10km of the child’s home postcode.

Click on a pin to see the details of the school it represents

Click the ‘Add School to Application’ button to select the school and be taken to the ‘School Details’ page to complete the selection of the school.

3. Using the ‘Add a school using keywords’ section – Click the ‘Add School using

Keywords’ button to be taken to a page where you can search for a school by entering the most unique part of the school’s name, e.g. to find St Mary’s High School in Croydon enter ‘Mary’ and click the ‘Search’ button. This will produce a dropdown list of all the secondary schools with ‘Mary’ in their name.

Select the school you want from the dropdown list and click the ‘Add School’ button to be taken to the ‘School Details’ page to complete the selection of this school.
