The “Altatensione” systems for display lighting have been specifi cally designed for professional lighting installations which require high quality lighting in conjunction with long term sustainability. These specia-list systems ensure a very high chromatic performance in all colour spectrums. The direction of the light focus can be adapted both during and after installation.

Con i LED gli interventi di manutenzione si diradano grazie al loro lunghissimo ci-clo di vita. Pertanto la lunga aspettativa di vita degli apparecchi LED comporta un signifi cativo risparmio nella manutenzione, soprattutto dove sostituire le lampade risulti un’operazione complicata: come in vetrine con particolari sistemi di chiusura e prote-zione delle opere.

With LED lighting, maintenance operations are greatly reduced thanks to the extended life cycle of these systems. The prolonged life cycle of LED installa-tions leads to a signifi cant saving in main-tenance costs, especially in circumstances where replacing the bulbs involves a com-plex operation: for example, in display ca-ses with special locking and safety systems to protect exhibits.

In architecture, the structure and its con-tents are blended together in a single har-monious entity.Light helps to restore the visual beauty of a work of art, highlighting the colours and the individual workmanship. Light can be used as a theatrical device to emphasize certain aspects: to draw atten-tion to objects in a museum or to items in a showroom.

Con gli apparecchi LED si riescono a creare interessanti punti di attrazione che cattura-no l’interesse. Il LED emette una luce molto concentrata, con il quale è possibile produrre un’effi cace illuminazione d’accento senza dispersioni.I LED sono dunque ideali per evidenziare dettagli o mettere in scena superfi ci e ma-teriali. Le dimensioni miniaturizzate ne consentono un armonioso inserimento nelle architetture.Le dimensioni compatte dei LED permettono di formare accenti precisi modellando l’ef-fetto tridimensionale degli oggetti; allo stes-so tempo possono essere avvicinati al mas-simo senza disturbare l’aspetto d’insieme e soprattutto senza causare il deterioramento. In questo modo si riesce a dare spicco an-che ai dettagli più minuti, oppure a creare effetti plastici con le ombre.

With the use of LED lighting, one can create special points of focus to attract the attention of the onlooker. LED systems emit a highly concentrated light which allows one to produce a spotlight ef-fect without light dispersion. This makes them perfect for highlighting details or bringing out the qualities of different surfaces and materials. The miniature size of the lights permits them to be inserted very subtly within structures, while at the same time they can be placed extremely close to the illuminated object without disturbing the viewer’s perception of the whole and, even more importantly, without causing any long-term damage. In this way, it is possible to make even the tiniest details stand out, or to create subtle effects with shadows.

Un adeguato scenario di luce valorizza gli ambienti architettonici di pregio e gli oggetti che al suo interno vi sono esposti.Allo stesso tempo occorre fare attenzione a non causare il degrado di oggetti delicati e preziosi. La moderna tecnologia LED riesce a risolvere il problema in maniera ottimale: infatti le sorgenti LED sono le uniche a non contenere radiazioni IR/UV e quindi a non aver bisogno di utilizzare fi ltri. Le sorgenti LED non causano il degrado dei materiali nemmeno se disposte molto vici-ne agli oggetti da illuminare, come invece succede con la luce convenzionale. E’ possibile affermare perciò che il rischio che i colori sbiadiscano o che i materiali delicati si deteriorino si riduce veramente al minimo.

A well-designed light installation hi-ghlights the best features in prestigious architectural buildings and enhan-ces the objects displayed inside them. When one is lighting up works of art, it is important to make sure this does not cause any deterioration to delicate and precious objects. Modern LED technology can resolve this di-lemma in the best possible way: the system produces virtually no IR/UV radiation and so obviates the need to use fi lters in order to comply with the norms governing ligh-ting in museum environments. In contrast to conventional lighting, the absence of IR/UV radiation in LED systems allows one to place them very close to the items on display without the risk of causing delicate to fade or precious materials to deteriorate.
